DONNAS SPACEFebruary 12 So long GPWell this is probably the last time I will blog while in GP. Packing all week and moving this weekend. Planning on spending a night in Calgary with a couple GREAT friends but will be missing two new great ones here. Char and Tanya... I already miss you both. I hate to leave you now but will be in touch for sure. I never thought I could make such good friends in such short time. Don't have too much fun without me and don't work too hard. I am leaving the 18th or 19th, will pitstop in Calgary for the night, and then be on my way to big ol' Wynndel. Brett and I have alot on our plates for the next few weeks but together we can handle anything. Brandon won't be coming down untill the very end of the month and only staying with us in Wynndel for a day then back to GP for work. We aren't the couple of the year or anything but I will miss him either way. (Don't tell him that or it will go to his head.) I think that my mom will be moving to Peace River to stay with Ky which I think will be a great place for her. I will miss her tons and Jen too and Ky even more. I'm so sorry I have to leave Ky but you are doing so great on your own, I know you will be fine. I'm very proud of you and love you lots. You better keep in touch too. So to everyone in GP... bye for now... and everyone in BC...see ya soon. Everything will work out for the best. Enjoy the few pics of our last days in GP. January 24 SighWell, it's finally coming to an end. As much as I don't want to stay in G.P... it's the same amount that I don't want to be in Cresthole. We have finally run out of hope and are packin' it all up and goin' back. Plans so far are for Brett and I to go back late Feburary and B will work for a while then come down. Like I said, they are the plans 'so far'. Things in our lives change so fast. In the past year we haven't made a lot of friends here so that's good but we'll definately miss the ones we did make. I'll miss the girls at work mostly. Brandons friends are mostly ones from Creston anyways and we will always be friends with them no matter where we live. Living in Wynndel will be way better for both Brett and I, but I'm not so confident about Brandon. Brett will have a big open house and a yard and I will have a house that is mine. Brandon on the other hand will have to take a job that he really wont want. In the end he will be ok so it's worth it. Things have been good between the three of us and we know we can at least make it through the richer or poorer part. Anyways... Brett has taken a liking to skating this month. We bought him some bobskates (two blades-strap on) and some well used skates for ourselves so it's been fun. We have been swimming too and anything to get us out of the house. Well I hope everyone else is doing ok. I will post any new news once I am settled in Creston. December 17 Baahhh HumbugI hate christmas... Not only does it cost too much, but it adds stress that I dont need, and you find who the unappreciative people are. I want to just sleep through it. Having Brett makes a diffference. Its all for him this year. My hubby too. Its a season to spend time with the ones who you are close to and care about yet im finding less time to do so. Its all too much. Giving and loving is whats important. Id rather hibernate through the whole damn thing. I want it over and done with but still am very excited for Brett. We didnt have much for money but still got him a few gifts he will really like. So to everyone who I care about even a little... happy holidays! October 31 HalloweenWell that was fun... not really. Cold cold cold. It could have been better if we weren't way up north. Brett was super cute as a candy thief but wasn't very good at it. He wanted to go into peoples houses and try to give them his candy. By the last couple houses he realized what was going on and was thrilled when the people came to the door. We tried to give out candy but had a whole ten kids show up including Dylan and Shayna. Dylan was the best Grave Digger I've ever seen, and Shayna was the most beautiful princess. No surprise on either of their choices of costumes. Too bad Jordyn wasn't up for it. All in all, it was cute and a great photo op so... Enjoy. Watch out for that smile and eyes. They're killer!! October 26 OctoberNot much new here. Still not a fan of Alberta. Brett is getting big but still not new news. Brandon is working a little, if he can fit it into his schedule of wrecking pieces of the rig. I am working a little more but only because my boss loves me and wants me there all the time. Id rather be home with my little man. Brett went to his first monster trucks this weekend and loved them. Big family excitement. He likes the bigfoot videos better than the rebelracing videos now. Thank god... i needed a change... but the monster truck videos are boring already so hopefully we can go back to Team Wicked soon. We aren't sure what we are going to do for xmas this year. Probably stay here especially if B will actually work. Hopefully the 'moms' will be getting their own place soon. I'd really love to have my house back considering its been over a year since B, B and I have lived alone. I dont know what I will do with myself with all the privacy and room. Well hope everyone is doing well and have a great halloween. B has decided Brett will be a candy robber. I will post pics asap. oxo May 17 LifeSo isnt life just ducky. Things could always be better but... My son is the best thing that has ever happened in my life and his father comes in a distant second to him. Friends and family are next of course. Much to do this summer, weddings and such. Looks like we will have a lot of fun. Just a quick thanks to all who have been there for me since our big move. Just when I needed you all... Good friends are a great find. Love you all lots. |
